#Adopt a Girl Project (AAGP)

We have in our data bank of otherwise promising girls who have dropped out of secondary school for various reasons from poverty, lack of motivation, religion and culture.

We have met with very brilliant girls in high school who are from low income economy household. They go to school in tattered uniform, cannot afford small school expenses and pay for terminal public examination. Without your help some of these girls will drop out of school and will add up to the population of poor women.

Ireti Owoeye is one of those numerous girls.

Her story

My name is Ireti Owoeye, I am 18 years old. My mother is late and my father a peasant farmer in Ilesha, Osun State, Nigeria. I dropped out of school late 2014, in senior secondary school 1 (SS1). My father was unable to afford text books and other materials which were necessary for my studies. Right now I am working as a housemaid, but I still want to go back to school. I need help so that I do not end up poor like my father.

We have tested Ireti at our centre and have established that she has the potentials to acquire quality education. Your donation of $2500 will ensure that Ireti completes the 3 circle of senior secondary education. Ireti’s dream is to become a Medical Doctor. You can help her realise that dream. Thank you.

Please help us end the circle of poverty, because girls who complete their education will have small family, send their children to school, can adequately care for their health and those of their children, and able to take part in decisions that concern their lives.

Adopt a girl today, by helping her go back to school!
